Kids' activities for a perfect holiday

Château le Verdoyer has always been a family campsite, where we go out of our way to make sure the kids have a great time.

Each year, Château le Verdoyer tries to come up with new things to surprise our returning little guests.

The campsite features several beautiful playground-areas with swings, porticos, sandboxes and slides. And for inside entertainment there is our games hall with its pool table, air hockey or fussball!

We also installed special sanitary blocks with the kids in mind: with showers that are easy to reach for parents and water faucets and sinks with special kids' decorations. 

The Lenny Club at the Campsite

During high season our campsite offers a complete animation program, including a Kids club - named after our mascot Lenny - that is open 6 days a week. The team organises fun activities, educational games, and trips around a different theme every week. All for free! And they even get surprise visits from a clown, or a witch, a cowboy or a fox...

Make new memories and new friends

The Kids Cantine, which is organised once or twice a week in high season, gives parents the opportunity to have some much deserved private time. The kids meet for a crèpe or pizza making party at the Snack Bar, and eat and play together. New friendships are born!

Every Wednesday evening, the team puts on an exciting show, all arranged by and for the children: a Playback Show, "Verdoyer Got Talent" or a fashion show.

And every evening the there's the Kids Disco: 30 minutes of high-energy choreography. Parents: just join in on the fun!

Beside these planned program activities, we organise some activities at various spots on the campsite: e.g. a football or tennis tournament, or we go out on a ghost hunt or splash dance in the pool.

Other activities that we organise from time to time are a day of canoeing in Brantôme, tree-climbing in Nontron or horseback-riding in Milhac de Nontron. Just ask for the latest plans at the reception.

Safe travels!

For kids, a holiday starts the minute they walk out of the front door. But they still need to make it through those hours of travel time. That is why we created a travel book, to keep them busy and maybe even off their tablets. Who knows! You can download your free copy below. 

There they will find several games and drawings for boys and girls. and by arrival in the reception, the children give this fully completed book, they might get a surprise.
