Our swimming pools are open from the end of April to the end of September and are all heated for your comfort and pleasure.
Our aquatic area of nearly 2000m² is composed of:
A magnificent complex of swimming pools (3 different depths), with a sun terrace.
A 37-meter water slide for the joy of young and old.
And ...: a beautiful indoor swimming pool with integrated spa!
Whether you are looking to relax, cool off, or just spend a fun and relaxing day by the pool, our aquatic area is the place to be.
Available from May to September, our pools are heated to an ideal temperature. On a nearly 600 m2 beach furnished with sunbeds, you will find three pools waiting for you at Château le Verdoyer.
The large semi-Olympic swimming pool, with an equal depth of 170cm, is ideal for swimming laps and enjoying the view of the castle with your feet in the water.
A second pool, 90cm deep, offers an ideal space for family fun.
Finally, a paddling pool is dedicated to the little ones: its shallow depth is particularly suitable for the first steps in the water of dear blond heads.
37 meters of water slide
Family-friendly and cozy, if the Château le Verdoyer has many leisure facilities that will delight your children, the most popular is without any doubt the water slide, 37 m long and perfectly integrated into nature. Arrival is in a separate basin for the safety and tranquility of all.
We surely know that young and old will not get enough of our water park soon enough.
Disabled are not forgotten: an elevator is available on request to enter the large pool.
By choosing a campsite with swimming pools and slide, you will make a lot of unforgettable memories!
3 ponds at your disposal
We speak of Périgord Vert as the country of 1000 ponds. Most are man-made, long ago serving as a water supply for agriculture.
At Château le Verdoyer, natural water is therefore also available, in a preserved and cleaned environment, in the shade of trees or on a sunny bank:
A fishing pond with fitted out pontoons.
In front of the castle, filled with carps that let themselves be seduced without too much resistance, to the delight of the younger fishermen.
A second pond, larger and more sporty, housing several kinds of fish, very popular for experienced fishermen.
And a swimming pond, away from the campsite, typical of the Dordogne ponds.
A fine sandy beach has been set up there in a small cove out of sight from the campsite as well as wooden benches around the pond.
The water is checked annually by approved services.
Water is important, don't waste it, use it for your pleasure!
